So my wife's birthday is coming up and I'm trying to decided what I can get her that is special but also not crazy expensive as I'm broke after Christmas.  The timing of her birthday is about as convenient as a the timing of C arson Palmers torn knee in the 2005 play off game but I guess I can't change it I'm thinking that since she's a huge Ohio State fan I could get her a Buckeye Gift Basket to enjoy before the Rose Bowl? (Even though they're a bunch of  scrubs )&nb...

If you could (which  you can) travel between all of the fast food restaurants to put together the value meal of your dream where what you go and what would you get? For me, I would head to Rally's to get an order of their awesome fries (with McDonalds as a close second).  I would head to Wendy's to get a Single with cheese. I would go to McDonalds to get a large Coke (they seem to have the syrup to carbonated water mixture down the best of any of the fastfood chains)...

My buddy Brandon and his wife recently bought their first home.  we decided to throw them a house warming party and the some of the gifts that my friends got him were more pathetic than the Detroit Lions . Of course I saw a few of the traditional house warming gift baskets that you would expect from the ladies in the group but there were also some pretty hilarious gifts too.  One of my favorites was a tacky western shower curtain from Ed that had horses, cowboys, indians and ev...

Last week I went with my wife to our nephews birthday party.  I always know I'm in for a crazy time when I head to a childrens party because you mix family, friends of the kid, and friends of the parents all into one big mess of a party.  This party had Yo Gabba Gabba party supplies all over the place.  I'm talking cups, plates, napkins and everything you could ever imagine.  If you've never seen that childrens show you should check it out if you want to question your sanit...

Yesterday I went with my wife trying to find a place to buy tasers  of all things.  We've had a few houses in our neighborhood get robbed over the last few weeks so I thought it migh be smart to find a way to protect ourselves if the need ever arose.  After trying a few of the obvious places we began noticing a lot of signs for new homes in Cincinnati  along every corner we passed.  I wonder how much the people make who put those signs out...

I walked in this morning and threw off my work clothes so I could jump in the shower quickly before heading out to shop for my daughters birthday.  She is four years old and the love of my life but her wish does not send me to the most manly stores.  She really wanted a princess shower curtain and I was thinking where in the heck am I going to find one of those.  I spent a few hours searching around the mall and Toys R Us before finding one at a specialty toy store in t...

I've always heard that " A Ciga r a day keeps the ladies away" and over the years I've never met a woman who enjoys the smell and taste (if you're kissing) of a cigar.  Unfortunately for me, my wife is one of those ladies who does not enjoy the look, taste, smell, or even thought of a good cigar.  Over the years I've snuck them in on golf trips, in the car, or even outside the office, but recently I just decided to give them up completely.  I came to this decision because of...
